BBQ Chicken Pizza

 

Pizza Dough (enough to make two 8” pizzas)

1 lb. Boneless skinless Chicken Breast grilled and cubed

8 slices of cooked bacon crumbled

½ cup Pizza Sauce

½ cup Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce

1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese

1 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese

4 Green Onions thinly sliced 

 

Place your pizza stone in the oven and preheat oven to 500 degrees.

In a medium bowl combine and mix pizza sauce and BBQ sauce. 

To make pizza, take each dough portion and roll out with a rolling pin, until desired crust thickness and shape (I shoot for an 8” diameter). 

Using a spoon transfer a ¼ cup of the sauce mixture to the center of each pizza and spread evenly using the back of the spoon.  Next spread cubed chicken pieces and crumbled bacon evenly on each pizza.  Top next with equal amounts of shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese, and finish with a sprinkling of green onions. 

Transfer pizzas to the pizza stone in the oven and bake at 500 degrees for 7-8 minutes.  Remove from oven and let stand or 5 minutes, prior to cutting into desired portions.

 Makes 2- 8 inch pizzas
